McKeil Marine Grows Fleet with Chemical Tanke
Built in 2009, the 13,965 dwt vessel was bought to service the needs of McKeil’s client Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI).
The Panamanian-flagged Topaz measures 137 meters in length and 20 meters in width. The chemical tanker was previously owned by Turkish Transal Denizcilik, according to data provided by VesselsValue.
Its journey originated in Singapore and continued to Malaysia where the ship loaded a cargo for delivery to the Mediterranean. The tanker made a brief stop in France and arrived in Canada recently to begin its Canadianization process.
Topaz was then officially renamed Hinch Spirit on May 27.
