Geodis expands and renames its Project Logistics business

Group said the name change reflects its more diversified service portfolio in this sector, which now goes beyond serving the industrial segment. European logistics services provider Geodis is widening its range of worldwide project logistics services and rebranding from Geodis Industrial Projects to Geodis Project Logistics.

It said the name change “reflects the more diversified service portfolio of Geodis in this sector, which now goes beyond serving the industrial segment”. In addition to Geodis’ growing activity in the Renewable Energy market, as well as the company’s evolving offer for the Oil & Gas industry, Geodis said it was also integrating its Aid & Relief business as well as its Marine Logistics teams into the expanded project logistics organisation.

Geodis Project Logistics is offered in over 30 countries, via 550 project logistics specialists worldwide operating in the sectors of Oil & Gas, Renewables, Rail, Nuclear, Mining, Power, Infrastructure, Petrochemical Production and Refining, Aid & Relief, Marine Logistics and Governmental Services.
