APL updates Gulf Asia Express 2 service – Brazil Modal | Portal de Notícias de Comércio Exterior e Logística

APL has announced a revised port rotation for Gulf Asia Express 2 (GA2), which will allow access to the Taiwan trade through Kaoshiung and Taipei.

Imports will be handled at Kaoshiung while both Kaoshiung and Taipei will handle export cargo. With the addition of Vung Tau port call, GA2 also offers direct access to Vietnam from Middle East. In addition, GA2 will form a pendulum service with South China Loop 8 (SC8) under Trans-Pacific services.
