The sulphur content in RMLS 40 does not exceed 0.5%, therefore fully complying with MARPOL requirements, according to Rosneft.

The first 200 tons of the new marine fuel was supplied to a bulk carrier in the Nakhodka waters.

The low-sulfur fuel is also being used on ships operating in the water area of the Bolshoy Kamen Bay as part of the Zvezda construction project.

The environmentally friendly fuel for the Far East regions is produced by Rosneft’s Komsomolsk oil refinery in the Khabarovsk Territory.
